The Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA) The Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA) is the organization in the Department of the Army responsible for providing "civilian" human resources support. The Senior Executive Service (SES) The Senior Executive Service (SES) is comprised of the men and women charged with leading the continuing transformation of government. These leaders possess well-honed executive skills and share a broad perspective of government and a public service commitment which is grounded in the Constitution.
Defense Information Systems Agency The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) provides, operates, and assures command and control, information sharing capabilities, and a globally accessible enterprise information infrastructure in direct support to joint Warfighters, National level leaders, and other mission and coalition partners across the full spectrum of operations. The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) is the Department of Defense (DoD) component that works directly with Defense suppliers to help ensure that DoD, Federal, and allied government supplies and services are delivered on time, at projected cost, and meet all performance requirements.
National Capital Region (NCR) Medical Directorate The Defense Health Agency's (DHA) National Capital Region (NCR) Medical Directorate exercises authority, direction, and control over the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, and their subordinate clinics; DiLorenzo TRICARE Health Clinic, Tri-Service Dental Clinic, Fairfax Health Center, and Dumfries Health Center and the Joint Pathology Center (JPC). The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Established October 1, 2013, the Defense Health Agency (DHA) is the centerpiece of Military Health System (MHS) governance reform, as outlined in the Deputy Secretary of Defense's March 11, 2013 Memorandum "Implementation of Military Health System Governance Reform."
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) The people of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) take pride in serving the men and women who defend America. We take our contribution to national defense seriously. We work hard to fulfill the important fiscal responsibilities entrusted to us by the American taxpayers. We ensure the resources they provide are accounted for properly. National Guard Following World War II, National Guard aviation units, some of them dating back to World War I, became the Air National Guard. The Guard stood on the frontiers of freedom during the Cold War, sending soldiers and airmen to fight in Korea and to reinforce NATO during the Berlin crisis of 1961-1962.
